Health is Wealth

In our busy lifestyles i guess health would be the last thing which would worry us. These days when our lives are at full speed, we often tend to be careless when it comes to health care. People love going for late night parties, getting drunk, even kids love playing video games or chatting away to glory throughout the night, healthy food has become the last priority and it has been replaced by junk food and fast food. In the beginning all this seems very interesting and tempting but what people often neglect is it's effects in the long run.
The fact that can not be neglected is that if you have good health, you can have all the fun in this world, so that makes your health most important for you. A rich person who loves sweets, but can not have it because he is diabetic, says it all. Just by following some simple steps we all can lead a very much improved life.
1) Get 8 hours of sleep:- Sleep is very very important. You must get proper and sound sleep for your body to recover from the day's stress and tiredness.
2) Eat Healthy:- I am not asking anyone to leave junk food, even i can't leave it myself ;-)., but yes we must set limits. Keep one day of your week for junk food, and rest of the days have balanced diet with good amount of fruits, salads, fibres, carbs, proteins, vitamins in it
3) Be Sober:- If you are not a smoker or drinker, i would suggest you to stay away from it, and if you already are, then i would just ask you again to set limits. Try to quit , it's gonna take time but if you keep trying, you definitely will. Our bodies does not have any enzyme to break down alcohol, so consuming alcohol can damage the liver, and the very notorious cigarette can cause cancer.
4) Exercise:- Don't be a couch potato, get up and exercise. An early morning jog and some stretching can really give your body a great boost for the whole day.
5) Try to avoid diuretics:- Dieuretics like caffeine can be harmful if taken frequently, so before having your next cup of coffee just think how many have you had today?
